After Watching This, You’ll Jump on the Next Flight to Italy

Since I just returned from a week-long Italy checking out Baglioni Hotels in Florence (in photo above), Rome, Venice and on the Tuscan Coast, I was intrigued by an email I received today about a new video featuring Italy destinations in popular movies.

Here’s what it said:

The Italian National Tourist Board is proud to announce the launch of “Italian Emotions, The Directors’ Dream”, a video showcasing Italy through the images of nine of the most successful movies filmed there. The video combines the extraordinary beauty of Italy with the exciting performances of popular stars such as Matt Damon, Johnny Depp, Angelina Jolie, Nicole Kidman, Russell Crowe, Jude Law, Roberto Benigni, Gwyneth Paltrow, Monica Bellucci, Giancarlo Giannini and other famous artists.

I usually don’t watch videos sent to me during the workday, but with Italy on the brain and probably still on the hips (yes, I ate my way through the country), I had to check it out. And I’m glad I did, it’s such a beautiful montage. It makes me want to hop on a plane and return…today!
