When Lindsay and I decided to launch Voyage Vixens, we created a “bucket list” of destinations that we both wanted to visit. We’ve crossed off quite a few, but there’s one destination in particular we’ve tried to get to – twice – but for one reason or another it hasn’t happened. 2014 is the year. It’s Australia or BUST! We’re planning a trip to Australia and we need your help.
Using Findery as a “vision board” of sorts, we’re going to be leaving notes about hotels, adventures and landmarks we want to see in Australia – places that we feel speak to what the Voyage Vixens brand is all about – quirky, cool, hidden gems, unique experiences, a little luxury, and a whole lot of adventure! But, it’s not always obvious where such places are, especially when researching it from afar.
In the words of Dr. Seuss, “You know what you know. And YOU are the one who decides where to go…”
Aussieland is the world’s sixth largest country; there’s no way we’re going to be able to do it all (or even most of it!).
In our words, we need your help. That’s why we’re inviting you to chime in via Findery and help us plan a trip of a lifetime, local-style.
Know a psychic rainforest guide that can recognize both plant life and intuit our futures? What’s your favorite bar for a bucket of shrimp and a beer? Where can we snuggle a Koala? Best scream-your-lungs-out OZ adventure?
Oh, the fun we’re having planning our #VoyagetoOZ 2014 together. Lindsay’s on the hunt for interesting characters to meet and bizarre places to stay, and I’m looking for craft cocktail bars and local art. We’re both searching what makes Oz, OZ!
Follow along as we note our research and let us know if we’re on the right track: www.findery.com/voyagevixens.
Tag your Australia finds with #VoyagetoOZ and when we venture down under in 2014, we’ll let you know where we end up!
Here’s to #VoyagetoOZ 2014!
How is the planning going girls? You heading this way soon?
Di
