Our introduction to the many activities you can do while visiting the Saguenay Fjord in Northern Quebec was a day of adventure at Parc Aventures Cap Jaseux. It was unlike any adventure park we’d seen and is certainly not for the timid, the unfit or the uncoordinated.
After doing a very challenging Via Ferrata (basically rock climbing on steep cliffs overlooking the Fjord’s waters 30 feet below with nothing to ensure your safety but a couple of carabiners and a helmet), we headed to the extreme ropes course. Extreme is an understatement. If you’ve ever wanted to give the show “Wipeout” a try, this is the real-life version.
Here’s a look at Lindsay taking on the “Pyramids” – where you literally jump like a monkey from pyramid-shaped beanbags to ropes to beanbags.
