It’s difficult for us to tear ourselves away from our computers and phones and iPads. Tweet this! Facebook that! Instagram it! JibJab it! But — we’re committed this holiday to actually stepping away, reflecting on the year as we always do, and leaving the technology alone (or at least limit it for a bit!). When you do that, you can clear your thinking, process what you did well during the year, where you exceeded your expectations and where you fell short, and most importantly, what you’d like to improve in the year ahead because there’s always room for that!
Redefining your personal and professional goals can actually feel quite liberating because it requires you to be honest with yourself. Brutally honest. No one ever said it was easy. As the year draws to a close, we’ll be sharing with you some of our New Year’s travel wishes and resolutions for 2013 (in addition to a video of our best bloopers and outtakes from 2012), and hope you’ll share with us yours.
Ok, so we’re asking you to stay on your computers one minute longer, but, to find out who wins the sled race in our holiday JibJab video card may just be worth it!
Now, close the laptop, leave the phone at home, and go out there and enjoy the reason for the season – spending time with the people you love. And while you’re enjoying the company, why not whip up our favorite hot bourbon cider to drink by a warm fire with friends or family, or just curled up with a fantastic book that takes you away! From us and ours to you and yours, Happy Holidays!
