The holidays are right around the corner and that means one thing – PARTIES – and lots of them! Whether you’re hosting them or want to bring something that will definitely be a welcome potluck item, here are a few vodka holiday cocktail recipes, made with the French vodka EPIC, to get you in the holiday ‘spirits’ of things:
Warm Winter Berry Sangria – Serves 6-8
1 Bottle of Red Wine (Two Buck Chuck would work just fine here)
½ Cup EPIC Cherry Vodka
2 Tablespoons Honey
½ Cup Frozen Cranberries
½ Cup Frozen Berry Medley (Cherries, Blueberries, Raspberries)
2 Cloves
2 Star Anise
1 Cinnamon Stick
Add all ingredients to a crock pot, stir to combine. Cover with lid, set crockpot to low and cook for four hours or set to high and cook for two hours to mull the flavors. Serve warm.
Almond Irish Coffee – Serves 2, non-dairy
1 Cup Fresh Brewed Coffee
2 Ounces EPIC Classic Vodka
½ Cup Almond Milk/Vanilla Almond Milk
Add ½ cup coffee, one ounce vodka, and ¼ cup almond milk to each mug. Serve warm, top with non-dairy whip cream and dark chocolate shavings for extra flair.
Apple Pie Martini – Serves 1
¾ Cup Hard Apple Cider (Lanee’s favorite brand is Crispin)
1 Ounce EPIC Whipped Cream Vodka
2 Tablespoons Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice
Whipped Cream (freshly made from heavy whipping cream is best)
Cinnamon
Add cider, vodka, and orange juice to a martini glass. Stir to combine. Top with whipped cream and a dash of cinnamon.
Coconut Mintini – Serves 2
¼ Cup Simple Syrup
6-8 Fresh Mint Leaves
3 Ounces EPIC Coconut Vodka
Splash of Frangelico
4 Ice Cubes
Chocolate Syrup
Coconut Flakes (unsweetened is best)
Add syrup and mint leaves to a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer for one minute. Remove from heat and let slightly cool. Add mint leaves and syrup to a cocktail shaker along with the vodka, Frangelico, and ice. Shake for one to two minutes to break apart the ice.
Rim the martini glass in chocolate syrup and then coconut flakes. Pour through strainer equal portions of the cocktail into each martini glass.
How Epic is EPIC Vodka?
First off, it’s made in France. Anything made in France (like the Kelly bag, champagne, perfume), we’re a big fan of. EPIC vodka comes in nine different flavors beyond the classic vodka: Peach, Whipped Cream, Kiwi Strawberry, Cherry, Cake, Citrus, Grape, Red Berry and Coconut. What flavor will they come up next? We vote for a red licorice or pecan pie.
