GRAMMY-Inspired Cocktails at LA Restaurants

January 29, 2016 By VoyageVixens Leave a Comment

It’s awards season in Los Angeles. And we just learned that Patina Catering has been appointed the Official Caterer of the 58th Annual GRAMMY Celebration!

No surprise, really — they have been the Official Caterer for the Emmy Awards for the past 20 years! In fact, Patina Catering is now responsible for two of the three largest award celebrations in the city.

In addition to curating a menu fit for the star-studded celebration, PRG has developed five GRAMMY®-inspired cocktails that those of us who WON’T be at the main event can enjoy from now until February 15 at its Los Angeles restaurants, including Nick & Stef’s Steakhouse, Ray’s & Stark Bar, Café Pinot, Pinot Grill, and Kendall’s Brasserie & Bar.

What we like the most about this kitchy promotion is how fun the music-themed cocktails are! Here are some of the Grammy cocktail creations, crafted by PRG’s new mixologist Evan Charest to honor the Record of the Year nominees.

  • All The Love withmezcal, aperol, lime, and bitters
Inspired by D’Angelo and The Vanguard’s “Really Love”

  • Gon’ Give It To You with gin, lemon, apple, ginger, and soda
Inspired by Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk”

WHO ARE THE VIXENS?

Lanee Lee and Lindsay Taub of Voyage Vixens

Hi! We're Lanee and Lindsay. You may have gotten to this page because you're intrigued by the word "vixens" or maybe you found some of our porn online (#travelporn, that is!). Either way, we are fully aware we are not what you typically think of when you hear the word "vixen", i.e. boobalicious babe wearing skintight minidresses in 6-inch heels. In our book, you don't need DDs to be a VV. To us -- vixens are smart and sassy women (and men, why not?!) who take action, scared sh**less or not, to turn their dreams into realities. Now you know a little about us; we'd like to get to know you. Connect with us on twitter, instagram, google+, pinterest, youtube, Facebook, tumblr, and periscope! (yes, we're on them all...#sorrynotsorry)

Got a Story to Tell?

We want to hear it! We're now accepting guest blog posts. Send us your travel tale—be it hilarious, heartwarming or horrifying— to [email protected] Promise, you'll hear from us in less than 48 hours.
