We have furiously been pinning up a pictorial storm with our new Voyage Vixens Pinterest page. Categories like Undress Me, Race Me, Pet Me, Woo Me, Dance With Me and Scare Me are some of the boards’ topics. In addition to these more general categories, we’ve also created destination-specific boards dedicated to the beauty and […]
Free Falling in Spokane, Washington
Punkin’ chunkin’, corn ear shooting, and pumpkin donuts? Meet Spokane, Washington during the fall harvest. It’s a place where you can be a kid again – from sliding down a shoot into a “sand box” of dried peas and getting lost in a human-size hay maze to tasting wine from the barrel out of a […]
We slept with Mark Twain’s ghost in Murphys, California
We’re not going to lie. Murphys Historic Hotel freaked us out. Lindsay was afraid to leave the room (Mark Twain’s room) at night to use the restroom down the hall and Lanee swears she heard a melody being hummed in the middle of the night. A guest log in the room reported previous guests’ ghost […]

A shout out to fate and a GQ cowboy
We met – where else? – while traveling. We were in the gorgeous province of Alberta, Canada touring through Calgary, Banff, and Lake Louise… We bonded over the natural beauty, our natural inclination toward adventure and adrenaline junkie fun, delicious food, and the best ice wine we’d ever tasted. But it wasn’t until a ride up to a pristine and magical little tea house in Lake Louise on horseback with a GQ cowboy as our guide that we knew we’d be lifelong travel buddies! Since then we’ve had adventures together around the globe and back again…
Shimmy Saturdays with Sandy Campy @ Pulse Studio
As Lindsay tweeted, we have now officially committed to Zumba Saturdays with Sandy Campy @ Pulse Studio so we can enjoy Tequila Tuesdays. Really, how can you argue with a workout that requires a shiny belt that jingles and a willingness to simply shake your groove thing. If you haven’t caught the Zumba craze yet, […]
A year since Visit Wales adventures…
Wow, time flies! Last year at this time, we were off with a group of bloggers from around the world, on a race from Conwy to Cardiff. The group was split into four groups — Lanee was in the culinary group; Lindsay was in the adventure group. From thrilling jumps off cliffs into the Irish […]

A road trip to Murphys, California was quite simply off-the-beaten-path at its finest.
