Terranea Resort Names Social Media Influencers for Weekend Getaway

And guess who’s one of them? Yep! Our very own Lindsay Taub. Of course, co-vixen Lanee Lee would love to be there too, but she’s busy eating #onlyiniceland delicacies at the SATW Conference in Reykjavik!

We’re not exactly sure what’s in store for the weekend getaway, but Lindsay is super excited to get down there and experience it this weekend. Terranea Resort announced the 10 finalists today on their blog. Click here for the full list. As finalists, they are all now eligible to be named Terranea’s Brand Ambassador for the year.

Seaside Yoga: Los Angeles’ Largest Yoga Event – This Sunday, September 21, 2014

Also this weekend – in honor of September’s National Yoga Awareness Month – Terranea will once again host what has grown to become Los Angeles’ largest outdoor yoga gathering. In addition to the annual yoga day event, Terranea will be offering complimentary classes at the resort throughout the month of September.

Open to the public, the free yoga event begins at 4:30 p.m. with an outdoor wellness marketplace. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with fitness experts from The Spa at Terranea who will share tips on exercise routines, staying fit and more; enjoy a lululemon trunk show previewing the latest athletic wear, view the current line of TOMS eyewear, and create personalized TOMS with ‘Style Your Sole’ event featuring TOMS footwear artists.

Fruit smoothies and healthful bites from Terranea’s Spa Café will also be served. For those wanting to arrive early and unwind at The Spa, Terranea is providing a discounted $45 day pass, allowing guests to relax by the pool and access additional spa amenities.

In honor of the seaside yoga event, The Spa at Terranea is also offering a spa package that includes the resort’s signature 90-minute Passage Treatment for $245. Accommodation packages are also available, including a special room rate of $250 for the night of Sunday, Sept. 21, which can be booked by calling 310-265-2800.

The feature event, a special sunset yoga class, will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Terranea’s 16,000-square-foot oceanfront Palos Verdes Meadows. The complimentary one hour class, led by Terranea’s fitness gurus, will emphasize the most current yoga moves and techniques. Seasoned yogis and beginners alike are invited to participate. It is recommended that attendees bring a yoga mat.

Participants will receive a goody bag featuring a variety of products and special offers and be eligible for a drawing to win one of several prizes, including an overnight stay at Terranea Resort with 60-minute spa treatment, valued at $700.

Throughout the month of September, starting on Sept. 8, Terranea Resort will also be offering complimentary yoga classes at the oceanfront yoga movement studio at The Spa at Terranea.  Classes will be offered three times a week, on Mondays at 8 a.m. and on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30 p.m., with options available for all skill levels.
